How do I top up my wallet?

On Hello Fraands, you pay for calls from a prepaid talk-time wallet. You add money first, then you talk. It is simple.

What is the wallet?

The wallet holds your talk-time money. When you call a host, the cost of each minute is taken from it. You can only use what you have added, so there are no surprise bills. Joining is free. There is no subscription.

How to add money

1. Sign in on the website.
2. Open your wallet.
3. Choose how much to add.
4. Pay with UPI.

Once the payment is done, the money shows in your wallet. Then you can call any host who is online.

How much should I add?

Prices start from ₹5 per minute. Each host sets their own rate, and you see it before you call.

To start a call, you need at least 2 minutes of balance at that host’s rate. For example:

• ₹10 for a host at ₹5 per minute
• ₹40 for a host at ₹20 per minute

Rohit from Pune wants a quick chat with a host who charges ₹10 per minute. He adds ₹100. That is enough for up to 10 minutes of talking.

Your wallet history

Every top-up and every call charge shows in your wallet history. For each line you can see the date, the duration and the amount. Use it as your receipt. If you think there is a mistake, read billing errors.

Good to know

• Charging starts only when both of you are connected. Ringing, a host declining, or a call that never connects costs ₹0.
• Your unused balance is always yours. You can withdraw it to your own UPI ID.

Stay safe

We will never ask you for your OTP, UPI PIN, password or bank details. Not on a call, WhatsApp or email. Enter your UPI PIN only inside your own UPI app when you pay. Never tell it to anyone.
