Why are there no refunds for calls?

A kind and clear explanation of the no-refund rule for connected calls, and what you can do instead.

Read in 2 minUpdated 8 Oct 2026For callers

We do not give refunds for calls that connected. We know this can feel hard, so here is the reason, in plain words.

Why no refunds?

You are in control of every call.

  • You choose the host.
  • You see the price before you call.
  • You can hang up any second.

Charging starts only when you are both connected, and only for the minutes you actually talked. We are not responsible for how a particular call feels, so we cannot refund a call just because it was not what you hoped.

An example

Amit calls a host to just chat. After four minutes, he feels the talk is not fun. It was not a rule break. It just did not click.

  • Amit hangs up. He pays only for the minutes he talked.
  • There is no refund for those minutes.
  • He can try a different host who fits his mood better.
  • He can rate the host honestly, so others know.

That is fine. Not every conversation is a match, just like in real life.

What you can do instead

  • Hang up early. If it is not working, you can end the call at any time.
  • Try someone else. Filter by mood, language, price and online now.
  • Rate the host. Your rating helps other callers.
  • Report a rule break. If the host was rude, asked for money, or broke a rule, report them. Our team will look at it.

When money does go back

You pay nothing if the call never connects. Ringing, a host declining, or a timeout all cost ₹0.

If you were charged for a call that never connected, or charged twice, that is a billing error. It is not a refund. The wrong amount is put back in your wallet. Read billing errors to learn how to report it.

Your unused balance

Money you have not used is always yours. You can withdraw it to your own UPI ID.

You can read the full refunds page for more.

Can I get a refund if the call was not what I hoped?

No. Connected calls are not refunded. You choose the host, see the price, and can hang up at any second.

What if I was charged for a call that never connected?

That is a billing error, not a refund. Report it and the wrong amount goes back to your wallet.

What can I do after a bad call?

Rate the host, try someone else, and report the host if they broke a rule.
