The LGBTQ+ space is a private lane on Hello Fraands. In it, LGBTQ+ people can talk to LGBTQ+ hosts. It is coming at launch. You can read more on the LGBTQ+ space page.

Private by default

  • Joining is your choice. Nobody is put in this lane without saying yes.
  • It is private. Joining does not show anywhere on your profile by itself.
  • Showing it on your profile is a separate choice. You can join the lane and still keep it hidden. You can change your mind later.

Example: Arjun joins the lane to talk to someone who understands. His profile shows nothing about it. Later he decides to show it, and he turns that on himself.

Only verified callers

Everyone who calls in this lane must be verified first. This keeps out fake accounts and people who want to cause harm.

Friendship and conversation only

The rules are the same as everywhere else. It is for friendship and talking. No flirting, no sexual talk, no asking for photos, and no meeting up. Read the Community Guidelines.

Stay safe: simple tips

  • Never share your phone number, your photos or your home address.
  • Never pay outside the platform. Not by UPI, not by gift card, not by any other way.
  • Press # at any time. The call ends and the person is blocked.
  • Threats or demands for money: report right away. Some bad people try to scare you, for example by saying they will tell your family or friends unless you pay. This is extortion. Do not pay. End the call, press #, and report them at once. If you feel in danger, call 112.

You will not get in trouble for being the one who was threatened. We will help.
