Women’s safety is the main reason Hello Fraands is built the way it is. Every part of the call is made so that you stay in control.

What protects you

  • Your number is masked. The other person never sees your real phone number. See How your number stays private.
  • Hosts are checked. Hosts are verified adults who have done video KYC. KYC means we check that a person is real and is who they say they are.
  • AI follows live calls. It ends abusive calls on its own.
  • The # key. Press it any time. It ends the call, blocks the other person and reports the incident.
  • No recording and no listening. See No recording, no listening.

If a man flirts or says sexual things

This is not allowed. Sexual or suggestive talk is not part of this platform.

You do not have to be polite. You do not have to argue. Do this:

  1. Press #. The call ends, he is blocked and the incident is reported.
  2. Or simply hang up.
  3. That is all. You never owe an explanation for hanging up.

Our AI may also end the call by itself. It looks for harassment, abuse, threats and sexual pressure. When it acts, the account is flagged. After a review by our team, he can get a strike or an immediate ban. Read more in Strikes and bans.

Payment does not buy permission

Some people think, “I am paying per minute, so I can say anything.” This is wrong.

Payment never buys permission to cross a boundary. A caller who pays still has to follow the rules. You can end the call at any second.

An example

Kavya is a host. A caller starts with normal chat. After a few minutes he says, “You have a sweet voice. Why don’t we talk about something more private?” Kavya does not reply. She presses #. The call ends, he is blocked and the incident is reported. She did not have to say a word.

Want a space with only women?

There is a separate lane where only women talk to women. See The women-only space or visit women-only space.

If something goes wrong

What if a man says sexual things to me?

Press # to end the call, block him and report. You do not need to explain why you hung up.

Does payment give a caller the right to say anything?

No. Payment never buys permission to cross a boundary. You can hang up at any time.

Will the AI also help?

Yes. The AI ends calls with harassment, abuse, threats or sexual pressure, and flags the account.
