Learn how per-minute pricing works, when charging starts, and how long a call can last.
Read in 2 minUpdated 8 Oct 2026For callers
You pay per minute, from your prepaid wallet. Each host sets their own rate. The rate is shown on their profile before you call. Prices start from ₹5 a minute.
Billed per started minute
You are charged for each started minute of connected time. If you start a new minute, you pay for that whole minute.
61 seconds at ₹5 a minute is 2 minutes. That is ₹10.
3 minutes 20 seconds at ₹10 a minute is 4 minutes. That is ₹40.
45 seconds at ₹5 a minute is 1 minute. That is ₹5.
Tip: if you are close to the end of a minute, finish your sentence and say bye. A new minute starts the moment the old one ends.
Minimum balance to start
You need at least 2 minutes of balance at that host’s rate.
Charging starts only when both of you are connected.
You pay ₹0 when:
the phone is only ringing,
the host declines,
the host does not answer in 10 seconds, or
the call never connects.
The 60-minute limit
A call lasts as many whole minutes as your balance buys. The most is 60 minutes per call.
About 60 seconds before the limit, you hear a warning. Then the call ends by itself. Your balance never goes below zero. To keep talking, top up and call again.
Check your charges
Every top-up and every call charge shows in your wallet history. It shows the date, the length and the amount.
Refunds and mistakes
Connected calls are not refunded. You choose the host, you see the price, and you can hang up at any second. If a call was not what you hoped, rate the host and try someone else.
If we charged you for a call that never connected, or charged you twice, tell us. That is a billing error. The wrong amount is put back in your wallet. Read refund policy and wallet terms.
Your unused wallet balance is always yours. You can send it back to your own UPI ID from the dashboard at any time.
Do I pay for a part of a minute?
Yes. You pay for every started minute. A call of 61 seconds is billed as 2 minutes.
What is the longest a call can be?
A call lasts as many whole minutes as your balance buys, up to 60 minutes. You get a warning about 60 seconds before the end.
Can my balance go below zero?
No. The call ends when your balance runs out. Your balance never goes below zero.
